Reading task : Read the text and each group present information about his famous person to other group by using poster . Each group has to answer the questions according the text. Strategy “Jig saw” 1st group: AmreKashaubayev AmreKashaubayev AmreKashaubaev (1888-1934) - the famous Kazakh singer, actor, musician.He was born in Abyralinsky district of East Kazakhstan region. The boy was 12 years old when his father moved to Semipalatinsk. From an early age, Amre began working at a rich man named Isabek, who took the young poet with him to various weddings and holidays, where Amre sang. Soon the fame of Amre spread throughout the neighborhood of Semipalatinsk. In the years 1921-1924, Amre joined the Es-Aymak Educational Society created by Kazakh youth. At the same time, the singing art of a novice artist is revealed. At the review of amateur art in Semipalatinsk, he, along with Kali Bayzhanov, became the main prize winner. In 1925, participating in the work of the V Congress of Soviets of Kazakhstan in Kyzyl-Orda and the IV Congress of Soviets in Moscow as a delegate, took part in a concert organized for the participants of the congress. On June 26, 1925, an article about this concert appeared in the Pravda newspaper: “A wonderful concert. Such performers as Kazakh singer A. Kashaubaev, Uzbek singer and dancer Tamara khanum ... are real folk artists. ” In 1925, he participated in an ethnographic concert in Paris where he performed the songs “Akash ayak”, “Kanapiya”, “Ush dos”, “ZhalyzyzArsha”, “KhosBalapan” and others, received the 2nd place and a silver medal. The Paris Week newspaper and the Le Musical magazine noted Amre’s voice as unique. AmreKashaubaev was the first singer to introduce Kazakhstan abroad. In 1927, he perfectly performed Kazakh songs at the Moscow Conservatory. By participating in a concert held in the German city of Frankfurt, the singer once again opened Kazakh songs to the world. The songs of AmreKashaubayev were highly appreciated by such great experts on world culture as Romain Rolland, Henri Barbus, and others. A.V. Zataevich was amazed by Amre’s skill and recorded the songs “Balkadish”, “Dudarai” and others. His mastery was highly appreciated by such art experts as A.V. Lunacharsky, G.Lyubimov, as well as prominent representatives of Kazakh literature and art M.Auezov, S.Seifullin,. The songs “Akash Aayak”, “Ush dos”, “Dudarai”, “Bes Karager”, recorded by Amre on the phonograph in 1925, were found by the music researcher J. Shakarimov in 1974 and re-recorded after technical processing. A. Kashaubaev’s peculiar manner of performing classical Kazakh songs found followers in the person of ZhusupbekYelebekov, BekbolatTleuhanov. In 1926, A. Kashaubaev was accepted into the troupe of the newly opened Kyzylorda Theater, where he played the role of Zhapal in the tragedy of E. Auezov “Yellik - Kebek”. Later, he created images of Koskeldy, Koyshy, Zharas, Akyn in the performances of M. Auezov's plays “Karakuz”, “Beibishe - tokal”, “Ayman - Sholpan”. Until the end of his life he was a singer. In 1934, Amre transferred to the Abay Kazakh Opera and Ballet Theater. After a serious illness, the singer died. Several studies, works of art dedicated to the life and work of A. Kashaubaev have been published, republican reviews of young singers are held in honor of A. Kashaubaev. The regional philharmonic society in the city of Semipalatinsk is named after him. 2nd group DimashKudaibergen DimashKudaibergen DinmukhamedKanatulyKudaibergen (Kazakh: ДінмұхаммедҚанатұлыҚұдайберген), who was born on 24 May 1994 in Aktobe, Kazakhstan, is a Kazakh singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He is university trained in classical as well as in contemporary music and is known for his wide vocal range. Kudaibergen has performed songs in twelve different languages, his native language Kazakh as well as Russian, Mandarin, English, French, Ukrainian, Italian, Kyrgyz, Turkish, Serbian, German, and Spanish. Although offered a position at Astana Opera, Kudaibergen decided to carve out his career in contemporary music, incorporating classical elements and traditional Kazakh music with pop music. Kudaibergen named Michael Jackson, ErmekSerkebaev, Celine Dion, Lara Fabian, and Luciano Pavarotti as musical influences. He has stated on numerous occasions that as a singer he aims to present Kazakhstan to the world . In late 2016, Kudaibergen participated in the fifth season (broadcast weekly from January 21 to April 22, 2017) of Hunan Television's I Am a Singer under the recommendation of director Hong Tao. At 22, he was the youngest participant in the history of the show, and competed against professional and top-selling Chinese singers as a ‘wildcard’ competitor. Kudaibergen’s mother later said that he hoped to reach at least the middle stage of the competition. He won Episodes 1, 2 and 6, with his performances of "SOS d’un terrienendétresse", "Opera 2", and "Adagio", respectively. He eventually made it to the finals, and finished as runner-up to Hong Kong singer Sandy Lam. For Episode 7, Kudaibergen decided to perform traditional Kazakh folk song "Daididau".[86] In an interview, his mother stated that it was his childhood dream to perform a traditional Kazakh song in a world-class competition. His performance of "Daididau" was received positively and sparked interest in Kazakh music and culture in China. Following Singer 2017, Kudaibergenov appeared and performed on numerous TV shows and public events in China, Kazakhstan and France. On March 3, 2017, Kudaibergenov was awarded the First President's Foundation Prize in Kazakhstan. (As he could not attend the ceremony, his father received the award for him. Kudaibergen also received several music awards in 2017, including "Best Asian Singer" at China's 24th Top Music Awards (considered to be China's equivalent to the Grammy Awards),] and "Most Popular Overseas Singer" at the Tencent MTV Asia Music Gala.
